Labour Party's Abure Demands Supreme Court Verdict

Julius Abure, the embattled national chairman of the Labour Party, declared that his faction will not cease efforts until the Supreme Court issues a final verdict regarding the ongoing leadership crisis within the party. In an interview on Tuesday with Channels Television, Abure emphasized that the Labour Party was built on strong leadership and that the current injustices and impunity cannot continue.

He criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for recognizing Nenadi Usman as the interim chairman of the party. Abure asserted that the leadership crisis should not undermine the party's image and that the matter will be resolved once the Supreme Court delivers its final decision.

He expressed confidence that the Labour Party, which has developed a prominent leadership, will see the proper actions taken by INEC in light of the court's determination.
