Labour Party Hails Peter Obi's Defection, Blames Him for Internal Crisis

The Labour Party in Nigeria has welcomed Peter Obi's defection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), attributing it to the liberation of the party from internal crises. The LP spokesperson, Obiora Ifoh, criticized Obi for his alleged role in the party's leadership crisis and accused him of undermining democratic values and mismanaging the economy.

The LP also pointed fingers at Alex Otti, the former governor of Abia State, for allegedly sponsoring insurrection against the LP leadership. The LP expressed disappointment in Governor Otti for not following Obi's lead in leaving the party.
