Lafarge Africa Reports N1.1 Trillion Revenue in 2025

Lafarge Africa Plc announced a revenue of N1.1 trillion for the 2025 financial year, representing a 53% increase from N696.8 billion in the corresponding period of 2024. The company's post-tax profit surged to N411 billion, reflecting a 173% increase from N273 billion in 2024.

This outstanding performance was driven by disciplined cost optimization and enhanced operational efficiency. The Chief Executive Officer, Lolu Alad Akinyemi, emphasized that the results were a testament to the company's strategic focus on value creation, achieving a significant operational profit of N392 billion, a 103% increase.

Lafarge Africa plans to expand its AshakaCem plant in Gomb State and the Sagamu plant in Ogun State, which will increase total capacity to 14.0 million metric tons per annum. The CEO expressed appreciation for the support from employees, customers, and stakeholders, reinforcing the company's commitment to sustainable growth and shareholder value.
