APC Questions ADC Candidates' Experience for Lagos 2027

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, represented by spokesman Mogaji Seye Oladejo, has challenged the governorship ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), which includes Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and Gbadamosi, to demonstrate their governing experience and political structure essential for administering Lagos State. Oladejo stated that the excitement surrounding the opposition ticket does not equate to a viable path to Lagos House.

He emphasized that a political ticket differs from a political structure and that a coalition does not imply a governing record. He questioned the political backgrounds of Rhodes-Vivour, who previously contested the 2019 Lagos West Senatorial election on the KOWA platform before joining the PDP and later the Labour Party, and Gbadamosi, who ran for the 2019 Lagos governorship on the Action Democratic Party platform.

Oladejo acknowledged Rhodes-Vivour's second-place finish in the 2023 governorship election but asserted that this does not equate to governance experience. He posed critical questions regarding their qualifications to manage Lagos's complex economy and infrastructure.
