Lagos APC Chair Promotes Unity During Lent and Ramadan

On Wednesday, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), called on Nigerians to embrace the values of sacrifice and unity during the Christian season of Lent and the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. He described this sacrificial period as an opportunity for individuals to deepen their spiritual devotion and renew their commitment to serving humanity.

Ojelabi highlighted the importance of sacrifice and service, urging Nigerians to strengthen their connection with God in preparation for the celebration of Easter. He referenced Colossians 3:23-24, emphasizing that whatever work is done should be done heartily as for the Lord.

Additionally, he extended greetings to Muslims, encouraging them to pray and fast during Ramadan, citing Quran Surah Al-Baqarah 2:183. Ojelabi urged followers of both religions to pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in Lagos State and across Nigeria, reinforcing the values that can bring Nigerians together despite their religious differences.
