Emmanuel Olotu Wins APC Primary for Ifako-Ijaiye Seat

Emmanuel Olotu, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, successfully won the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency II, defeating his closest rival by a margin of 154 votes. Olotu received a total of 1,440 votes across three wards, while his opponent received 1,286 votes.

The election results were attributed to the support from APC members and residents of Ojokoro in the constituency. Olotu described his emergence as the APC candidate as a victory for the people, reflecting unity and resilience within the democratic spirit of the APC family.

He expressed gratitude to party members for their confidence in his leadership and assured them of his commitment to quality representation and grassroots development. The primary election was conducted across five wards, although results from two wards were declared inconclusive due to disruptions.

Olotu won in wards E and K, while his opponent won in ward J.
