Ogundip Wins APC Ticket for Oshodi-Isolo 2027 Elections

Stephen Ogundip, the spokesperson for the Lagos State House of Assembly, has successfully secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket to contest for a second term in the 2027 elections for the Oshodi-Isolo constituency. According to the results announced, Ogundip received 11,939 votes from a total of 15,030 votes cast, defeating former Education Secretary Mayowa Alakija, who garnered 3,086 votes.

The announcement was made by Abdulrasaq Omolaja, the formal declarant of the results, at the party's headquarters. Ogundip expressed gratitude to party leaders, youth groups, and women's associations for their support during the process.

He acknowledged the competitive nature of the primary elections and called for unity among party members to strengthen internal democracy. Ogundip reaffirmed his commitment to serving the constituents and pledged to represent their interests effectively if re-elected.
