Lagos Assembly Nullifies Nomination of Adelabu as LASPAA GM Due to Procedural Breaches

The Lagos State House of Assembly has invalidated the appointment of Mr. Adelabu as the General Manager of LASPAA, citing breaches of legislative procedures.

This decision was made during a plenary session following a report from the screening committee chaired by Hon. Moje Fatai.

The Assembly unanimously adopted the recommendation to nullify the nomination. In contrast, Mr.

Adeyemo Khadijat was unanimously confirmed as the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission. The Speaker of the House, Hon.

Mudashiru Obasa, led the adoption of the committee's recommendation to formally nullify Adelabu's appointment.
