Lagos Court Convicts Victor Ogiemwonyi and Partnership Securities for N953.5m Share Sale Fraud

The Lagos State High Court has convicted Victor Ogiemwonyi and Partnership Securities for stealing N953.5 million and $80,000 in a share sale fraud scheme. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) revealed that Ogiemwonyi and his firm were found guilty of diverting funds meant for investors.

The court sentenced Ogiemwonyi to pay a fine of N10 million, while Partnership Securities was fined N20 million. They were also ordered to refund the entire stolen sum.

The case highlights the ongoing efforts to combat financial crimes and protect investors in Nigeria's capital market.
