The latest Nairametrics survey in Lagos markets for November 2025 reveals a slight decline in food prices, except for items like onions, fish, pasta, and flour which saw price increases. The survey conducted across Mushin, Mile 2, Daleko, and Oyingbo markets indicates a mix of encouraging and challenging trends in the food market.

While staple items showed a decline, essential items like onions, fish, flour, and pasta experienced price hikes, signaling ongoing cost pressures in the supply chain. Despite a drop in food inflation in Lagos, challenges like cold chain issues, logistics costs, and lower fish output continue to impact prices.

The market also saw a significant drop in the prices of items like pepper, maize, vegetable oil, and garri, reflecting supply recovery.
