Lagos Govt asked me to pay N36m as income tax – TikToker Peller laments

Popular TikTok personality Peller recently revealed that the Lagos State Government asked him to pay a staggering N36 million as income tax during a livestream with singer Peruzzi. Peller expressed frustration over the excessive tax levied by the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service, stating that he was unaware of the amount he was supposed to pay.

Despite Peruzzi advising him to settle the tax bill to avoid being jailed, Peller insisted that the amount was outrageous. He also claimed that the government was taxing him based on his flaunted assets and revealed TikTok income.

Peller emphasized the need for clarity on tax obligations for social media influencers in Nigeria.
