Lagos Government to Endorse APC Legislative Aspirants

The Lagos State government, led by Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is set to endorse legislative aspirants who can effectively articulate the plans of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During a meeting at Eko Hotel, Sanwo-Olu highlighted the significance of collaboration among the executive, legislative, and judicial arms of government to tackle challenges affecting governance and policy implementation. He urged the Lagos State House of Assembly to provide the administration with its usual support to complete ongoing projects.

The governor acknowledged the cordial relationship between the House and the executive, noting that critical legislation has been passed to support ambitious programs, including a multimodal transport framework. The meeting also aimed to strengthen grassroots participation in decision-making and ensure a unified approach towards the 2027 elections.

The administration plans to intensify voter mobilization and awareness efforts as part of its commitment to democratic participation.
