Lagos State Invests N150m in Youth-Led Food Solutions to Address Nigeria's Food Crisis

Lagos State, led by Abisola Olusanya, has allocated N150 million to support youth-driven food solutions through the Lagos Agrithon initiative. The program seeks to empower young agripreneurs with innovative solutions across the food system.

Olusanya emphasized the importance of creating an ecosystem to scale businesses in the agriculture and food space. The initiative, supported by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, aims to create successful agribusinesses and transform the food industry by 2025.

The competition has selected 32 agripreneurs from various states to pitch their ideas for further support.
