Lagos Police Arrest Two Cultists, Seize Firearm in Ajah

The Lagos State Police Command arrested two suspected cultists, Idris Rasak, 26, known as Aloss, and Ibrahim Kazeem, 25, known as Asunmo Kebe, during an intelligence-led operation in Ajah. The operation, conducted by the Command’s Violent Crime Response Unit (VCRU), targeted the suspects due to credible intelligence regarding their alleged involvement in cult-related activities around Addo Road, Ajah.

Following their arrest, the suspects reportedly confessed to being members of the Eiye Confraternity and guided police operatives to the Waterside area of Addo, where a locally made cut-to-size pistol was recovered. The suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue to ascertain the extent of their activities and identify any accomplices.

Commissioner of Police Tijani Fatai reaffirmed the Command's commitment to combating cultism and violent crimes through intelligence-led policing and urged residents to provide credible information to enhance security in Lagos State.
