Lagos Hosts Africa Game Expo 2026 from March 24-27

The Africa Game Expo (AGE) 2026 is scheduled to occur at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos from March 24-27, 2026, with an anticipated attendance of 11,000 delegates from the gaming market across Africa and select international jurisdictions. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu endorsed the expo, highlighting Lagos's growing stature as a regulatory and commercial hub within Africa's gaming ecosystem.

The expo aims to provide a platform for collaboration among government, industry stakeholders, and investors, focusing on regulatory compliance and technological advancements. Bashir, the Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos Lottery and Gaming Authority, noted that the theme of the expo reflects the ongoing developments in the continent's gaming sector, including the adoption of regulatory frameworks and the diversification of revenue streams.

The event will feature discussions on anti-money laundering compliance, digital payment systems, and the integration of esports into the gaming narrative, aiming to reshape perceptions of gaming within the African context.
