Obasa Declares Candidacy for Agege Federal Seat

Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, announced his intention to contest for the Agege Federal Constituency seat during a stakeholders' meeting held in Agege, Lagos, on Tuesday. He expressed his desire to serve the Agege community better and encouraged party members to remain united and committed as they prepare for the upcoming primary elections of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Obasa's declaration marks his pursuit of a sixth term as a lawmaker. He urged support for former Agege Council Chairman Ganiyu Egunjobi, who is also contesting for the Agege constituency, and emphasized the need for experienced and dedicated representation.

Additionally, he canvassed support for Azeez Ninolowo, another aspirant for the Agege constituency II. Obasa's announcement adds to the growing list of APC aspirants for the Agege seat, as he intensifies mobilization efforts ahead of the party's screening process.

He concluded by stating that he would continue to consult with party members across Lagos State while awaiting the outcome of the screening.
