Lagos State Targets N4 Trillion Investment at Summit
The Lagos State Government unveiled plans to attract N4 trillion in local and foreign direct investment through the Invest in Lagos 3.0 summit, set to take place from June 8 to June 9, 2026, at Eko Hotel. This summit, organized in partnership with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), aims to position Lagos as Africa's leading sub-national hub for investment and trade.
Co-chairing the local organizing committee, Folashade Bada and Ambrose Medebem highlighted the summit's focus on critical sectors such as infrastructure, industrialization, digital economy, agriculture, energy, and financial services. Deputy Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Sam Egube, disclosed that 29 global speakers from various industries have already confirmed their participation.
The summit is expected to attract 500-600 high-level delegates, including representatives from sovereign wealth funds and development finance institutions. Key dignitaries include Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, among others.
The event aims to deepen structural engagement with global capital and showcase Lagos as a long-term investment destination.
