Lagos to Launch Inaugural Corporate Olympics on May 1

The maiden Corporate Olympics is set to take place in Lagos on May 1, organized by Work Well Ltd. The initiative aims to promote workplace networking and encourage a healthier work-life balance among corporate employees.

Trebla Albert, the Technical Director, described the event as a movement celebrating the human engine behind business performance. Project Manager Daniel Madunem outlined that the Corporate Olympics will feature a mini-Olympic style competition where corporate teams compete across several sports categories, with medals awarded based on performance.

The event is expected to attract professionals from 12 industries, providing a networking platform for individuals at various corporate levels. Participants will engage in activities such as snooker, mini-golf, basketball, relay games, and sack races, allowing them to unwind from work pressures.

Abisola Jide Ojo emphasized the importance of the event in fostering workplace relationships and collaboration across Nigeria's corporate sector. The Corporate Olympics will include 20 activity stations and high-energy sports contests, aiming to become an annual event.
