11th Lagos City Marathon Set for February 14, 2026

The 11th Lagos City Marathon is set to take place on February 14, 2026, marking the beginning of a new decade for Africa's prestigious road race. During a press conference held at Access Bank headquarters in Lagos, Mr. Yetunde Olopade, Managing Director of Nilayo Sports Management, highlighted the event's growth and resilience, expressing gratitude to Access Bank as a corporate sponsor and the unwavering support from the Lagos State Government.

Olopade assured that the marathon would deliver a world-class experience for runners and spectators alike, further consolidating its status internationally. Mr. Lekan Fatodu, the Event Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, commended the organizers for their professionalism and dedication, noting the race's role in elevating Lagos's global profile.
