Mourinho Praises Diomande's Potential After First Start

Jose Mourinho, the manager of Real Madrid, commented on Yan Diomande's performance after the Ivorian winger made his first start for the club in a 4-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano on Saturday. Mourinho acknowledged that Diomande, who is Real Madrid's record signing, has a lot to learn tactically but praised his incredible potential, particularly in one-on-one situations, crossing, and shooting.

Diomande had previously made only brief substitute appearances since joining from RB Leipzig last month. Mourinho expressed his desire to see Diomande evolve, noting that he provides various options in attack, including the ability to play in the position of Vinícius Júnior or on the right wing.

Mourinho's comments reflect both encouragement for Diomande's growth and the expectations placed on him as a key player for the team.
