Lamido Forms PDP Campaign Council for 2027 Elections

Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido, the governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa for the 2027 general elections, has officially constituted his campaign council. The announcement was made in a statement signed by Lamido in Dutse.

He will serve as the chairman of the council, with Alhaji Inuwa Muhammad Tahir as the deputy chairman. Honourable Shehu Liman Wan has been appointed as the director-general, while Honourable Umar Kyari will take on the role of director of Media and Publicity.

Additional key appointments include Senator Mustapha Khabeeb as vice chairman I for Jigawa Central, Ambassador Ibrahim Musa Kazaure as vice chairman II for Northwest, and Honourable Yusuf Saleh Dunari as vice chairman III for Northeast. IGP (rtd) Suleiman Abba and former Inspector-General of Police were appointed as directors of Security.

Hon Aminu Wada Abubakar, the PDP candidate for Dutse/Kiyawa Federal Constituency, was named director of Finance. Other roles include Hon Nasir Mohammed as secretary and Dr. Nuraddeen Muhammad as director of Strategy and Mobilisation.
