ADC Candidate Nakudu Promises Governance Reset in Jigawa

Senator Sabo Mohammed Nakudu, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for Jigawa State, characterized his 2027 governorship bid as a “rescue mission” aimed at resetting governance and enhancing the living conditions of the state's residents. He made this declaration on Sunday at his residence in Dutse while receiving a delegation of Alarammas and Tsangaya teachers led by Goni Malam Ibrahim Mai Bindiga Hadejia.

Nakudu expressed that his motivation to contest stems from the need to re-engineer governance, revive the economy, alleviate hardship, and restore public confidence in government. He committed to an open, transparent, and accountable administration, ensuring that the needs and concerns of citizens would inform government policies.

Nakudu emphasized prioritizing policies to improve residents' welfare and create economic empowerment opportunities. He thanked the delegation for their support and pledged to collaborate with Islamic education stakeholders.

Goni Mai Bindiga Hadejia voiced the group's support for Nakudu's candidacy, while Hon. Ado Sani Kiri, the Director-General of Nakudu’s campaign council, expressed confidence in the ADC's prospects for the 2027 elections.
