Sule Lamido Fails to Secure PDP Chairmanship Form, Vows Legal Action

Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, failed to secure the PDP chairmanship form, expressing dissatisfaction with the process. He declared his intention to contest the party's chairmanship at the November 15th-16th election in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Lamido, a founding member of the PDP, aims to restore the party's status as a major opposition force in the country. He was unable to purchase the form at the PDP headquarters on Monday.

Former Foreign Affairs Minister, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, has endorsed Lamido for the chairmanship position, while other prominent figures like Ibrahim Shekarau and Ahmed Makarfi have also shown interest in the contest.
