Court Ruling Strengthens Ogwashi-Uku's Territorial Claims

The Delta State High Court delivered a ruling that stakeholders from the Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom welcomed, emphasizing the importance of respecting the territorial boundaries established in a long-standing land dispute with the Esemes Community. Chief Aboh of Ogwashi-Uku and Barrister Jude Obidi described the judgment as a landmark decision that reaffirms the principles of court judgments and their enforcement within the litigated land boundaries.

The ruling strengthens confidence in the judicial process and aims to safeguard the territorial interests of the kingdom. The court's decision has significant implications for future enforcement of earlier judgments, particularly concerning areas around the Admiralty University, which remains subject to pending boundary litigation.
