Lando Norris Triumphs at Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort

Lando Norris claimed victory at the Dutch Grand Prix held at Zandvoort on August 23, after returning from Formula 1's summer break. The McLaren driver initially started strong but lost his lead following a crash by Max Verstappen on the opening lap.

Kimi Antonelli, driving for Mercedes, took control after the restart. The race's turning point occurred during the second round of pit stops; Antonelli pitted on lap 40, while Norris stayed out longer, gaining a tire advantage.

When Norris eventually pitted, he was only 4.8 seconds behind Antonelli. As the race progressed, Norris overtook Lewis Hamilton, who had delayed his pit stop, and subsequently took the lead, which he maintained until the finish.

This victory is Norris' second consecutive win, following his triumph in Hungary. Antonelli's second-place finish keeps him 59 points ahead of George Russell, who finished third after navigating team orders and a late virtual safety car.

Hamilton and Charles Leclerc finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
