Lagos State Government Supports WBFA's School Hygiene Drive to Combat Diseases

The Lagos State Government has pledged support to the Wellbeing Foundation Africa (WBFA) in their school hygiene campaign to combat infectious diseases. The Ministry of Health commended WBFA's efforts in promoting handwashing practices in schools to reduce absenteeism due to sickness.

The partnership between WBFA and Reckitt Nigeria aims to instill the habit of handwashing in over 200 schools across Lagos, Kwara, and the FCT. Dr.

Yeside Shogbaminu praised the campaign's impact, emphasizing the importance of hygiene in creating a healthier future. WBFA's Dr.

Osinachi Onyeoziri highlighted the strategic partnership's role in reaching schools and reducing the burden of diseases through proper hygiene practices.
