Anambra Election Disrupted by Material Delays and Accident

The Anambra election faced disruptions as voters in Nnewi South were left stranded due to the late arrival of materials, causing frustration among residents. Meanwhile, an accident occurred in Awka involving a collision between a police vehicle and a tricycle carrying members of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps on election duty.

Despite the incident, no serious injuries were reported. The governorship election in Anambra featured 16 candidates from different political parties aiming to unseat the incumbent.
