LAUTECH Suspends Academic Activities at Iseyin Campus After Student's Tragic Death

The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has approved a two-week suspension of academic activities at its Iseyin campus after a 200-level student from the Department of Agricultural Economics died from fatal injuries caused by a hit-and-run driver. The incident led to the decision to give students a break until November 24, 2025.

This follows a previous tragedy in May 2024 involving a suspected cultist. The institution's registrar confirmed the suspension in response to the incident.
