Senator Bello Visits Governor Bago After Mining Tragedy

Senator Abubakar Sani Bello, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, visited the Niger State Government House to express solidarity with Governor Bago and the families affected by a recent mining tragedy. The visit was communicated through a statement by Muawiyah Yusuf Muye, Media Adviser to Bello.

During the visit, Bello commended Governor Bago for his prompt response to the incident and for facilitating the establishment of a committee by the Nigerian Government to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. Following his meeting with the governor, Bello also visited the Emir of Minna to extend his condolences to the Minna Emirate and the families impacted by the incident.

He emphasized the crucial role of traditional rulers in maintaining peace during crises due to their close ties with the communities. Bello prayed for the bereaved families and the people of Niger State, asking Allah to grant eternal rest to the deceased and strength to the affected families.
