Oshoma Blames ADC and INEC in Leadership Dispute

In an interview on Thursday, legal practitioner Libori Oshoma addressed the leadership dispute within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the role of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He stated that the ADC should also be held accountable for the recent actions that led to the dispute, particularly following INEC's decision on Wednesday to strike the names of former Senate President David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola, the national chairman, from the party's secretariat.

Oshoma criticized the ADC for demanding the immediate resignation of INEC Chairman Prof. Joash Amupitan and suggested that the party should confront INEC directly rather than seeking to maintain the status quo.

He emphasized that the ADC must first address its internal issues before blaming INEC, indicating that both parties need to take responsibility for the current situation.
