Leadway Assurance Partners with PFSCU & PULA Foundation to Support 249,000 Farmers in Nigeria

Leadway Assurance partners with the Presidential Food Systems Coordinating Unit and the PULA Foundation to provide agricultural and insurance solutions to 249,000 smallholder farmers in eight Nigerian states. The initiative aims to enhance food security by subsidizing 50% of insurance premiums for farmers in Borno, Enugu, Taraba, Ekiti, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Plateau, and Jigawa States.

The remaining premium is covered through donor financing. This effort includes the Harvesting Hope Caravan, a nationwide roadshow to engage farmers on climate change resilience and productivity.

The partnership seeks to empower farmers with education and support to navigate challenges and boost agricultural output.
