Amaechi Warns Against Vice Presidential Running Mate Speculations

Former Minister of Transport, Amaechi, has firmly stated that he does not wish to be included in any talks regarding a presidential running mate position. Reports had suggested that Atiku Abubakar was considering Amaechi as a potential running mate, but Amaechi clarified his ambition to solely run for the presidency in 2027.

He is focused on turning Southern Nigeria into the next presidential candidate. Amaechi had previously defected to the ADC and declared his intention to seek the party's nomination for the 2027 elections.
