Legit.ng Partners with Government on Digital Skills Initiative

Legit.ng has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to become the official media partner for the Federal Government's 3MTT Programme, which is a flagship digital skills initiative under the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy. This partnership will involve storytelling about the successes of fellows whose careers and businesses have flourished through the programme.

The 3MTT Programme, launched in December 2023, has trained over 160,000 fellows across three cohorts, with a total of more than 1.87 million registered participants in various digital skills. As part of the agreement, Legit.ng will also join the 3MTT employer network, gaining early access to a talent pool in digital media, content creation, data analytics, and IT support.

The programme has received significant backing, including a €5 million commitment from the European Union, and aims to position Nigeria as a net exporter of technical talent.
