‘Let’s all unite, save democracy’, Lamido seeks APC, others’ cooperation

Former Governor of Jigawa State and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sule Lamido, has called for cooperation between the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and other opposition parties to save Nigerian democracy. In a statement titled "LET US UNITE TO SAVE DEMOCRACY" shared on his official Facebook page, Lamido emphasized the importance of coming together to prevent the collapse of democracy in Nigeria.

He dismissed claims circulating that PDP State Chairmen were invited by a "lord" in Nigeria to disrupt the party, stating that such actions would only hasten the collapse of both the PDP and democracy in the country. Lamido urged all political parties, including the APC government and opposition parties, to unite for the greater good of democracy in Nigeria.
