Kano Police Arrest Suspects Linked to Lil Kesh's Attempted Murder

Kano State Police Command arrested two suspects, Matthew Adewole and Mukhtar Muhammad, in connection with the attempted murder of popular singer Lil Kesh. The suspects allegedly attacked Lil Kesh on August 19, 2025, causing significant injuries, including a deep cut on his neck.

Adewole confessed to the crime, revealing that they coerced the victim into transferring money via mobile phone. The arrest was made based on intelligence and community engagement efforts.

The Kano State Commissioner of Police commended the officers involved and emphasized the importance of community involvement in policing. Investigations are ongoing for prosecution.
