Arrests Made in Kano for Robbing and Attacking Singer Lil Kesh, Unrest in Kebbi State

Two suspects, Mathew Adewole and Mukhtar Muhammad, were arrested in Kano for robbing and attempting to kill Nigerian singer Lil Kesh in Lagos. The incident occurred on August 19, with the suspects allegedly forcing the singer to transfer money before inflicting a deep cut on his neck.

Adewole confessed to the attack, and the stolen money was traced to Muhammad's account. The Kano Commissioner of Police commended the operatives' work and assured residents of continued efforts to enhance intelligence and community policing.

In a separate incident, Yauri Local Government Area in Kebbi State experienced unrest following a clash among youth engaged in gold mining activities, resulting in loss of life and property destruction.
