On Wednesday, Lionel Messi, the captain of Inter Miami, achieved a significant milestone by scoring his 900th career goal during a 1-1 draw against Nashville SC in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup. Messi opened the scoring just 10 minutes into the match by cutting inside and firing a shot past the goalkeeper, putting Miami ahead.

However, Cristian Espinoza later equalized for Nashville SC, leading to Miami's exit from the competition. Messi reached this landmark goal in 1,142 games, a notable achievement compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 1,236 goals.
