Isak's Brace Leads Liverpool to First League Win

Three minutes later, Isak netted his second goal, receiving another assist from Gakpo on the left flank and striking a low shot into the bottom corner. This performance brought Isak's goal tally to three for the season, matching his total from the previous season after only three matches.

The second half featured a Liverpool penalty appeal that was overturned by VAR due to an offside in the build-up. Despite Ipswich's late efforts to score, they were unable to find the net.

The victory allowed Liverpool to maintain an unbeaten run at Portman Road, extending it to seven matches, and marked coach Andoni Iraola's first clean sheet since taking over in the summer. Liverpool moved up to fifth place in the EPL table with five points from three matches.
