Lobi Stars Approved to Play Home Matches in Makurdi

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has granted Lobi Stars Football Club permission to play their home matches at the McCarthy Stadium located in Makurdi, Benue State. Mr.

Danlami Alanana, the Chief Operating Officer of the NNL, confirmed that the stadium, which has a capacity of 5,000 seats, met the league's minimum requirements following an inspection. The approval is significant as it allows Lobi Stars to host their matches in their home city after a period of playing away.

Alanana warned that if the stadium fails to maintain the required standards, the permission could be revoked. The team is set to host Doma United at the McCarthy Stadium when the second half of the league resumes.
