Lagos State Gaming Authority Wins International Innovation Award

The Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LSLGA) has been honored with the Regulatory Innovation Award at the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) 2025 event in Toronto, Canada. LSLGA's innovative approach to safe gaming, including Africa's first regulated multi-operator self-exclusion platform, earned global recognition.

The CEO, Bashir, expressed gratitude and emphasized the importance of proactive frameworks for citizen protection. Governor Sanwo-Olu's leadership was also praised for promoting a fair and transparent gaming environment.

The award reaffirms LSLGA's position as a trailblazer in regulatory excellence, setting new standards for gaming regulations across Africa.
