LSM Partners with JAC Motor to Boost Nigeria's Auto Manufacturing

Lanr Shittu Motor (LSM) is leading efforts to make Nigeria a global vehicle manufacturing hub by partnering with Chinese automaker JAC Motor. The goal is to strengthen local assembly capabilities and expand Nigeria's influence in the regional automotive sector.

During a visit by Oscar Yu, the General Manager of JAC Motor, plans were discussed to transform Lagos into a world-class manufacturing ecosystem. This move signifies a shift towards deeper industrial integration and increasing local value addition, mirroring China's industrial journey.

The initiative also emphasizes the importance of protecting local manufacturers until they achieve scale.
