Doma United's Promotion Attributed to Club Owner's Support

Ismaila Mabo, the coach of Doma United, attributed the club's successful promotion to the Nigerian top flight to the steadfast support of the club's proprietor, Alhaji Suleiman Umar Mai Doma. Despite losing their last match 1-3 against Kada Warriors, Doma United secured their promotion by finishing at the top of the table with 26 points, having won 8 out of 14 matches.

Mabo expressed his gratitude in an interview with Daily Trust, stating that the promotion would not have been possible without the unwavering support from the club owner, who provided everything necessary to secure the promotion ticket while allowing the coaching staff to manage technical matters without interference. He acknowledged the prompt payment of salaries, match bonuses, and travel allowances as significant contributions to the team's outstanding performance.

Mabo emphasized the trust placed in him by the club president and expressed happiness in repaying that trust with the promotion to the NPFL.
