Niko Mihic has been appointed to lead the medical department as part of this reshuffle. The situation has been exacerbated by a notable incident involving Kylian Mbappé, whose right knee was reportedly misdiagnosed when he was treated for a left knee injury.

Although the medical staff at the loan club have dismissed claims of misdiagnosis, the incident has raised concerns about the team's medical protocols. Additionally, Mihic is expected to enhance the medical sector by bringing in Alexandr Creuz, the former head of AS Monaco's medical services.

Real Madrid's president, Florentino Pérez, acknowledged that the team has not met performance expectations due to the injuries affecting key players.
