Eight Killed in Armed Attack on Benue Community

In the early hours of Sunday, shortly after the burial of Mr. Adaj Okoh, an octogenarian, armed assailants attacked the Otukpo community in Benue State, resulting in the deaths of eight individuals and injuries to five others.
The Benue State Police Command, through its spokesperson DSP Udem Edet, reported that the attack involved gunfire that led to the casualties and the burning of thatched houses and motorcycles.
