Maduro Addresses Supporters from U.S. Prison Detention

He addressed his supporters via a message shared on social media, expressing gratitude for their support and stating that he remains calm in prison.

Maduro faces multiple federal charges in the United States, including narco-terrorism conspiracy and possession of a machine gun. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges during a court hearing on January 5.

His wife, Cilia Flores, also expressed her gratitude and shared a message of prayer for their supporters. The U.S.

State Department has recently announced steps to restore diplomatic relations with Venezuela, indicating a potential shift in the relationship between the two countries. Delcy Rodríguez, who served as vice president, has assumed leadership of the Venezuelan administration following Maduro's removal from power.
