Magu urges youths to break cycle of corruption in Nigeria

At the National Industrial Manpower Summit 2025 gala night in Abuja, former EFCC chairman Magu emphasized the urgent need for Nigerian youth to combat corruption and choose integrity to build a better nation. He highlighted corruption as the biggest threat to the country's development and called for a cultural shift to break the cycle of corruption.

Magu stressed that corruption not only leads to financial losses but also kills innovation and hope among the youth. He urged the young generation to take on the role of change agents and embrace integrity over impunity.

Magu also commended the resilience of Nigerian youth and expressed faith in their ability to drive the nation forward through hard work and merit-based success. He called for comprehensive reforms, including transparent recruitment processes and protection for whistleblowers, to ensure a clean and fair system that rewards hard work.

Magu also acknowledged President Bola Tinubu's commitment to youth empowerment and called for the summit to be a turning point in Nigeria's journey towards a developed and protected workforce.
