Seyi Makinde Supports Entrepreneurship at CapitalSage Event

Oyo State Governor ‘Seyi Makinde reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and private sector growth during the 10th anniversary celebration and commissioning of the CapitalSage Holdings Global Headquarters in Ibadan. He stated that natural resources alone cannot ensure economic prosperity without the contributions of entrepreneurship, skills, knowledge, and intensive production.

Makinde congratulated CapitalSage Holdings for establishing a successful business conglomerate in Ibadan, which comprises about 20 companies. He assured investors of continued support from his administration through enhanced security and investment facilitation.

The governor highlighted the critical role of private businesses in creating economic opportunities and generating employment. He expressed confidence that Oyo State could compete with Lagos in attracting investments and hosting major business operations.

Makinde emphasized the need for an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, stating that the government has worked to ensure economic activities continue beyond traditional working hours.
