Seyi Makinde Appoints Campaign Team for 2027 Election

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, who is the presidential candidate for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), has intensified preparations for the 2027 presidential election by appointing a campaign leadership team. Felix Hassan Hyat, a former Minister of State for Aviation, has been appointed as the Director-General of the National Campaign Management Committee for the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation.

The announcement was made by Makinde’s Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication, Anthony Ehilebo. Other key appointments include Hajia Inna Ciroma as Deputy Director-General, Administration, and Dr Anthony Aziegbemi as Deputy Director-General, Operations.

The campaign aims to unify experienced individuals in political strategy and mobilization to promote the "Reset Nigeria" message nationwide. The campaign structure also includes various directors overseeing areas such as mobilization, legal affairs, communications, and finance.

Makinde will collaborate with APM National Leader Bala Mohammed and other party leaders to coordinate the campaign efforts.
