Nigerian Minister's Son Denied Bail Over Corruption Charges

Abdulaziz Malami, son of a Nigerian Minister, has been refused bail and remanded in Kuje prison by Justice Emeka Nwite following corruption allegations. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) accuses Malami of conspiring to conceal illicit funds and purchasing luxury properties in various locations.

The defense denies the charges, including concealing over N1 billion in different bank accounts and purchasing expensive properties. The case spans from 2021 to 2025, involving multiple transactions and attempts to disguise the origin of the funds.
