Yobe State Governor Launches Nutrition Council to Fight Malnutrition

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni inaugurated the State Council on Nutrition as part of the 774 initiative to address malnutrition. The initiative aims to improve public health, sustainable growth, and economic development by promoting agriculture and nutrition.

The governor highlighted the importance of multi-sector collaboration and community involvement in achieving a healthy population. Senior Special Assistant Uju Rochas Anwukah commended the state's efforts in healthcare delivery and agriculture, expressing optimism for the success of the nutrition program in Yobe State.
